According to the test methods and standards, it can be divided into "static" and "dynamic". Static means that the sample is stretched and then placed in the test chamber for testing. Dynamic means that the sample is placed on the fixture of the test chamber, and the test is done while stretching. In the test, the tensile fluctuation is about 5%-45% of the tested sample itself.

Structure of ozone aging test chamber

The inner and outer boxes of the ozone test chamber are made of SUS304 and plastic-sprayed steel plates respectively. The inner box has buckles and multi-layer sample racks (please consult sales for specific quantities), all of which are made of 304. The outer chamber is treated with sheet metal spraying, which is beautiful in color and corrosion-resistant.

Usually the chamber has a single door, the left door is open. It can also be made into double doors (need to customize).

There is a hollow heating and frost-proof observation window on the door, which is resistant to high and low temperature, and will not be affected by fog. It has LED lights, which are opened when in use and closed when not in use. The size of the conventional observation window is W400*H300mm. There is also a silicone rubber sealing strip on the door, which is resistant to high and low temperature, anti-aging and good sealing performance. In order to prevent condensation or frost on the door frame and the edge of the door during the low temperature test, the door frame and the edge of the door are provided with an electric heating defrosting device. The door handle adopts a non-reaction handle, which can open the door with one hand, easy to operate, safe and reliable.

There is a 50mm diameter test hole on the left side of the chamber, equipped with a silicone rubber plug, which can be used for external test power lines or signal lines.

The control panel is on the upper left of the chamber, and the conventional control is PID touch screen. User-friendly operation, English operating system, other languages can be customized, need to confirm before placing an order.

The sound and light alarm system is above the control panel, with three colors of yellow (standby), red (alarm) and green (running). When the device is in different states, the corresponding indicator light will be on for a long time.

The water outlet of the equipment is at the rear and bottom position. After connecting the water pipe, the water can be directly drained to the sewer without pollution.

The small temperature and humidity chambers all use the Foma wheel, which is convenient for the operator to move the equipment. By simply releasing the footbrake, one person can transfer the device. Of course, before the transfer, it needs to be powered off.

Requirements for Sample Holders - Static and Dynamic 2-in-1

a) Fix both ends of the sample with clamps at the required elongation. When in contact with ozonated air, the length direction of the sample should be substantially parallel to the direction of the airflow

b) The jig should be made of a material that does not easily decompose ozone (eg aluminum).

c) Make the rotation speed of the sample between (20^-25) mm/s, in a plane perpendicular to the dry air flow, each sample moves continuously along the same path

d) The time for one rotation of the same sample is (8^-12) min. The scanning area of the sample is at least 40% of the effective area of the test chamber.

e) Sample preparation shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 9865.1. Specimens are preferably cut from newly extruded test pieces or, if desired, from the finished product. The samples shall be at least 3 samples per test condition. The width of the long standard sample is not less than 10mm, the thickness is 2.0mm ± 0.2mm, and the length of the sample between the two ends of the clamp before stretching is not less than 40mm.

The air circulation system is located in the interlayer at the rear of test chamber, in which devices such as heaters, fan blades, evaporators, and PT100 temperature sampling sensors are distributed.

When the fan rotates at high speed, the air in the working room is sucked into the air duct from the upper part, and the heat generated by the heater and the cooling capacity of the evaporator are fully mixed in the air duct and blown out from the bottom, and the heat exchange with the sample is carried out in the working room. The air after it is sucked into the air duct for mixing; repeated circulation, so as to achieve the target temperature requirements, and at the same time ensure a higher temperature and humidity index in the test chamber.
