Salt spray test chamber heating system

NSS

1. To prepare a sodium chloride solution, add 500g of sodium chloride per 9.5L of distilled water (or purified water), that is, 50g/L±5g/L, and stir until the sodium chloride is completely dissolved;

2. Measure the pH value of the sodium chloride solution with an acidity meter, so that it is between 6.4-7.0 (the pH value of the spray solution collected during the test is between 6.5-7.2), usually distilled water or pure water is used.

Water can directly dissolve sodium chloride without adjusting the pH value. The pH value can be adjusted by sodium hydroxide and glacial acetic acid.

A small amount of sodium hydroxide or glacial acetic acid can make a significant change in the pH value of the solution: sodium hydroxide makes the pH number number, and glacial acetic acid lowers the pH value.

AASS

1. Prepare sodium chloride solution with the same concentration as neutral salt spray tester NSS;

2. Add a small amount of glacial acetic acid (±50g) to sodium chloride, stir well, and measure the pH value of the solution with an acid meter until it is between 3.0-3.1 (the pH value of the spray solution collected during use is 3.1-3.3 between)
