The three-zone cold and hot thermal shock test chamber are also called the temperature shock test chamber and the high and low-temperature shock test chamber. There are two independently controlled high-temperature zones and low-temperature zones, one zone is above the other zone, and only the basket moves between the two zones, which is used to detect the adaptability of products to rapid temperature changes.

Thermal shock test chamber working principle

Through the heating system and refrigeration system of the unit, the sample is in a fixed working area, and the high and low temperatures are introduced into the studio by opening the air duct in the high and low-temperature area to realize the high and low-temperature impact of the sample;

During the moving process, the high and low greenhouses are connected, and the tested components also enter another chamber from high temperature or low temperature, so a large amount of cold and heat loads will be brought in, and the unit must quickly restore to the predetermined temperature of each greenhouse through the refrigeration system or heating system.

When the temperature of the chamber where the component under test is kept stable for a long time, the cooling or heating will be stopped. The cooling and heating room must also quickly return to the predetermined temperature. Repeat the above operation to complete multiple temperature cycle impact tests.

The thermal shock test chamber structures

The test chamber adopts an integral structure, that is, the text box, the refrigeration system, the heating system, the blower motor, and the electrical control cabinet are integrated as a whole, and the electrical control part is placed on the side of the test box for easy operation.

There is one cable hole on the side of the test box studio, the size is ф50mm; to prevent the signal line from slipping and falling into the test, the silicone plug will be placed in the test hole.

The outer shell of the test box is made of iron plate and sprayed with plastic, and the inner shell is made of 304 stainless steel plate;

The thermal insulation material is made of polyurethane foam, with a thickness of 100mm, and the thermal insulation effect is good, and the outer surface of the test chamber does not form frost or condensation;

The box is provided with a condensate drain.

The equipment is a single door, and the doors are sealed with silicone rubber sealing strips; double doors can be customized.

Air circulation system of thermal shock test chamber

In order to ensure a higher uniformity index, the test chamber is equipped with an internal circulating air supply system;

In the interlayer of the air duct at one end of the working room, heaters, refrigeration evaporators, fan blades and other devices are distributed; the fan is used to circulate the air in the box. When the fan rotates at a high speed, the air in the working room is sucked into the air duct from the middle. After cooling, it is blown out from the side of the air duct, and the air after heat exchange with the test product in the studio is sucked into the air duct and circulated repeatedly to meet the temperature setting requirements.

Thermal shock test chamber refrigeration system

The core of the refrigeration system is the compressor. In this solution, we use two Taikang compressor refrigeration systems to ensure the cooling requirements of the studio. Refrigeration cycle, the connecting container is the evaporator, and the function of the evaporative condenser is to use the evaporator of the low-pressure cycle as the condenser of the high-pressure cycle

Thermal shock test chamber control system

It adopts LCD touch screen programmable temperature controller and has the functions of automatic test operation and PID parameter self-tuning. The setting of the control parameters adopts the Chinese interface and the man-machine conversation mode. The automatic operation function of the refrigerator can be realized only by setting the temperature. The control system uses an intelligent control software system, which can automatically combine the working conditions of refrigeration, heating, and other subsystems, so as to ensure high-precision control in the entire temperature range and achieve the purpose of energy-saving and consumption reduction. The perfect detection device can automatically perform detailed fault displays and alarms. For example, when the test box is abnormal, the controller will automatically display the fault status.
